Today's passage was a more in-depth explanation of the rules that they need to follow. Specifically focusing on tithes, offerings and worship, and on worship idols. Moses is telling them in detail how they need to act once they cross over into the new land.
Psalm 105 is a hymn thanking God for getting his people out of Israel and explaining how he did it. It's praising God for providing for his people.

Today speaks of proper ways of worship and not being enticed by the words of others to learn about other gods or to worship other gods. There is a reminder at the beginning of 14 saying you are the children of the Lord your God and are his treasured possession.
I am wondering if the land of Ham is Noah's son. Isn't he the one that left Noah after they found land? Or am I only remembering this from a movie about Noah. I am not sure.
