So, if I recall correctly...and I could go back and look...the last time we read this I commented on the fact that I had started to notice that in the Psalms "his steadfast love" is used quite a bit. At that point, I started marking every time I saw it as we read. Those words are used a lot throughout all books of the Bible it turns out. I have marked that in all of the books we have been reading. I really love seeing it. So, what stood out to me was the last lines, For the Lord is good; his steadfast love endures forever, and his faithfulness to all generations." He is good, he loves us now and always, and has always been and will always be faithful to everyone.

I recall that as well. It has really been prominent to you as you often see this more than I do and when you point it out, I go back and look again and there it is. I am not sure why it's not as visible to me as it is to you. Maybe we are shown different things for a reason. The devotional for this psalm gave me something else to think about. It speaks of how God is big. Bigger than any of our needs and that like a shepherd, God takes care of us and loves us.
