The Lord is my strength really sticks out to me today. I am struggling with something right now and I really needed this chapter to try and calm my thoughts and let God control this situation. I think that chapter 11 is telling us ways to be righteous.
This proverb provided more warnings about adultery and the consequences of those actions.

I was a bit confused at the title of this chapter but maybe it's an analogy of some kind. I am not sure who the branch of Jesse is supposed to be. But it seems to be saying that at some point all will get along and a little child will lead them. It almost seems as if it is another reference for Jesus to come. It also talks of God gathering his exiled people again. And then 12 is a song of praise, giving praise knowing that God is your strength and defense, to trust and not be afraid.
Reading this proverb section made me wonder if these are the reasons that women in the middle east wear those coverings. To keep other men from lusting after them as it seems that it's the woman's fault for men acting foolish in this manner. As they can't seem to control themselves, or that is how it sounds.
