Day 417 - Psalm 45

Michelle

This is a wedding song.  We have been watching this show centered around medieval times and this psalm sounds like what they did when they escorted the bride to the wedding of a noble or king.  I see some references to God in this psalm, but it doesn't really sound like it's about that necessarily but more about the wedding celebration and how they will be honored.   It does speak about God's throne lasting forever and at the end I can only assume he is speaking about God when he says, "I will perpetuate your memory through all generations; therefore, the nations will praise you forever and ever".

Julie

I really like your take on this and I think that you are correct in your assertions.
