Day 433 - Ezekiel 25 & Psalm 61

 Julie

God is asking Ezekiel to prophesy against more people.

The Lord is our refuge and our rock. We are asked in this psalm to focus or spend time on "Let me take refuge under the shelter of your wings!" We should take shelter there and let God protect us.

This chapter is Ezekiel sharing God's prophesy against various towns and their people.

He is asking for God to hear his prayers in this psalm.   He says that God has been his stronghold or strong tower against his foes.  He is asking for God to protect the king as well, which if I remember correctly is the king that is condemning him.  This is quite an eye opener as he is asking God to protect the one who is against him, or his enemy.  So, we are called to pray for our enemies and take shelter in the wings of God.
