Day 439 - Ezekiel 34 & Psalm 67

This one spoke to me today. God is not talking about actual sheep, but his followers, those that are right with the Lord. Those that are supposed to be protecting them and taking care of them are not doing their jobs, so God is going to protect those who believe and follow him.

As God's face shines upon us we can see grace and mercy and praise him for all he does.

This seems a metaphor for God and his people.  It sounds like something we have read before but in a different way.  He has scattered the people, but you are right, he does say that he will protect and care for those that believe and follow his commands.  

It seems to be asking for God to bless them, "make his face shine upon us".
