Day 589 - Acts 11-12:24 & Psalm 31

 Julie

Peter is arrested and sentenced to death, but God saves him. He is questioned about why he is dealing with the Gentiles so he tells the story of God talking to him and telling that everyone is his and as long as they believe in him that are not unclean.

He is praising the Lord for all he has done and encourages others to be courageous and put their trust in the Lord and see what he does for them.

Yet again, they are having to explain things to the people.  But Peter tells them about dealing with the Gentiles.  Because God told him to and why and how.  It also speaks about Peter's escape from prison with the help of an angel sent from God.  Herod also dies after killing the guards that were posted with Peter.

It sounds like David is in a bad place and those around him are not doing good things to or for him.  He is praising the Lord and says he puts his trust in the Lord always.
