Day 591 - Acts 14 - 16.5 & Psalm 33

 Michelle

Paul and Barnabus travel around sharing God's word.  They were converting large numbers of people.  When they got to Jerusalem, they found an issue in which they were saying that converts needed to be circumcised or else to keep to the law of Moses.  They tell the elders that God knows the heart and does not discriminate for he purified their hearts by faith.  They should not make the Gentiles carry a yoke that none of them could bear either.  They are then joined by 2 others from the council to go and share with other Gentile believers.  Then Paul and Barnabus had a disagreement and parted ways, continuing to strengthen the faith.

This psalm seems to be a praise to God.  It says we should praise God with song.
