Day 624 - 1 Corinthians 15 & Psalm 66

 Julie

So he talks about the dead rising here and I think that people take this as a literal raising of the dead, but I am not sure that they are interpreting that right. I believe that he is saying that the raising of the dead is our ascention into heaven and our everlasting life. I could be wrong but I feel that is what he is saying here.

They are praising God for his greatness and sharing the greatness with others.

I had a really hard time reading this chapter.  I hate to say this but I kept dozing off, for some reason.  I do agree that this is probably misinterpreted.

This is a psalm of praise to God.  The verse that stands out says, "Come and hear, all you who fear God; let me tell you what he has done for me."
