Here Paul is telling them he is sending instructions in case he doesn't make it to them. The beginning of chapter 4 immediately made me think of times today, when it stated that some will abandon the faith and follow deceiving spirits and things taught by demons. It goes one, but that really stood out to me cuz I think we can see that right now. It says that we must point things out in order to be good brothers and sisters. Set an example for the believers in speech, conduct, love, faith and purity.
This psalm speaks highly of the Lord and gives examples of such. At the end it says that "the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom." And I think we have read this very line before.

That same part stood out to me too and I agree that it really does speak to today. Marriage is under fire in certain ways and people are removing things from their diet that was created by God...we are being deceived in so many ways.
I believe that is repeated a few times.
