We should love and be kind to everyone because you never know who that person might be. Angels disguise themselves to see if we are loving and kind to all. Have honor in marriage. Be content with what you have and do not chase money. I have always liked this verse, "The Lord is my helper; I will not fear; what can man do to me?" With the Lord on our side, that is so true. Do good and share what you have because these things are pleasing to the Lord.
While it is something that is difficult to do, we should calm and quiet our soul.

This reading speaks about some basic behaviors that we need to be modeling. Being kind, remaining pure, loving one another, remaining focused on God and his commands and not being strayed by evil.
It sounds like it's saying to put your hope in the Lord, and he will calm and quiet your soul.
