Today's reading was mainly the curses that would be places on the people if they did not follow the rule of God. Makes you wonder if when we are going through some of these types of things if we are being punished for something we have done wrong or if God is testing our faithfulness.
Psalm 113 is the direct opposite of the above chapters. We are praising the Lord for saving us from some of those types of things that he curses us for...so again my question...

This passage really had me thinking about things going on in today's world. It did first go thru reminding everyone they needed to follow God's commands and continue to worship him as instructed or there would be curses on them. And then it spoke of many curses that would come upon them. But some of the things talked about at the end made me wonder if these have come upon people of this time. Or some of the last few generations of people as we have strayed further and further from God's commands. I wonder if we are still here because there are still many that strive to stay faithful to God and the instruction given and that they are still trying to teach others the way, so as a whole we as God's people are still fighting to stay connected and not be cursed and wiped off the earth.
The psalm is one of praise. It seems short in comparison to most of the others.
