My concentration is a little off today. I think the gist is that God is telling Jeremiah that he will save the exiles from Judah and they will have a heart and desire for God. He will destroy those who remain in the land that are remnants of Jerusalem because while they speak as if they are talking to God they are misleading and speaking untruths.
The Lord will be our salvation and if we ask for his protection he will give it to us. He is our rock, our savior, our fortress our deliverer. If we faithfully follow him he will lead us in the right direction.

I think you are right. That's basically what I got as well. Those that are prophesying are actually lying and just saying they had dreams or talked to God, when they really didn't. But those that made the choice to go to Babylon from the last readings, will be made great and brought back to the land.
The second verse of this psalm is well known: The Lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; My God is my rock in whom I take refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. I think this is what stood out the most. I got distracted the further I read.
