Day 403 - Jeremiah 46 & Psalm 31

 Julie

God seems to be explaining how he will be disciplining them and what they are going to have to endure. He also ends by telling them not to fear as those who are faithful will be saved through this and they will be able to live on unpunished.

Today I feel like this was such a powerful psalm for me. I feel very much like David and this makes a wonderful prayer for courage and strength and remind me that God is there to protect me through the adversity that I am facing.

At first I didn't realize it was God explaining.  It seemed it was someone else.  I found it interesting at the end that it says that God would be punishing all the other gods people were worshipping.

Verse 5 stands out to me.  "Into your hands I commit my spirit, deliver me, Lord, my faithful God."
