This one is talking about the return of Christ and the tribulations that we will be going through. It's confusing because they talk as if this is related to the resurrection, but I don't believe that is what they are talking about here. They are talking about what would be our "end times." The last part of this reading stands out because it is warning us that we need to pay attention and to be focused on God and in his Word so that we will know when it happens.
Is this a warning to not be tempted by either a man or a woman to commit adultery?

I agree with you that we need to make sure we are paying attention and staying focused on God because if not we won't know when the time is coming. Some of the things it talks about in this passage, seem related to things that have happened in history and today. It makes you wonder how long of a time is the end times.
I think yes, this is a warning against adultery and to also stay in the word of God.
