Day 540 - Luke 4:14-44 & Proverbs 15:30-33

Luke is telling his version of when Jesus begins his teaching and recounts the stories of Jesus healing people and removing demons.

We should listen and fear God so that we will work harder at staying righteous in him.

I don't understand why Jesus gets rejected in this reading.  But the rest is another account of Jesus healing and removing demons from many people.

This seems to be about discipline and accepting correction and that wisdom is gained from fearing the Lord.
