Day 661 - 1 Thessalonians 5.12-28 & Psalm 103

This reading is final instructions for the people of Thessalonica.  It goes through basic guidance for how to live their lives and treat others according to God's will.  

This psalm is basically saying to Praise the Lord.  The song, Oh my Soul, came to mind as I was reading this.

Another of my favorite verses is in this reading. "Rejoice always, pray without ceasing..." These are a constant reminder to see the joy in everything and to rejoice for all that we are given and to always turn to God in prayer. 

I always start singing that song too when I read this one.
