I had a really hard time reading this one. My mind is running a hundred miles an hour today and not staying focused on one thing. I even tried closing my ears to the noise around me and that didn't help. So, here is what I got from this reading. Based on the title it's talking about false teachers and love of money. It seems they are saying that the false teachers of the time are only in it for the money and that money is a great corrupter. They are only interested in controversy and negativity. We should be content with what we have as we were brought into this world with nothing and take nothing from it. It then speaks of the charge given to Timothy which is to flee from the corruption and pursue righteousness, which I believe we should all follow this expectation.
This psalm says we should be praising the Lord from sunup to sundown and speaks of things he does for those in need

You nailed it on the head, "money is the root of all evil."
There is none other like God.
